Instructions:

The main page of the web tool depicts the entire map region. From this point you can zoom in, out, or move around, using the images/tools/TNM/ on the toolbar (see below for details on the buttons). You can also customize the view by turning layers on or off using the Visible check box next to the layer name.

Note(s):
This web application uses popup windows - you will need to disable popup block software to fully use this site.
This web application does not support the use of the browser 'BACK' and 'FORWARD' buttons.



Displays an Overview Map Overview  Use the Overview button to display/undisplay the overview map in the upper left hand corner of the map.
Zooms the map In 2x Zoom In  Click then click and drag an area in the map frame to zoom.
Zooms the map Out 2x Zoom Out  Click and then click in the map frame to zoom out.
Change to the view selected from the pulldown menu on top Change Extent  Toggles the Overview map between two views: World and North America. Click the Change Extent tool. The overview map will change to the alternate view. While in the World View, click the Zoom State Tool and select a state or territory from the pull down list.

The Overview map will change to the alternate view. While in the North America view, click the Zoom State Tool and select a state from the pull down list.
Zoom to a selected State Zoom State  Click the Zoom State tool and then select a state from the pull down list. The map will zoom into the state selected.
Zooms back to the Previous Extent of the map Previous Extent  Click to return to the previous extent of the map.
Zooms back to the original Full Extent of the map Full Extent  Click to zoom to the full extent of the map.
Pan or move the map to a different location Pan  Click and then click and drag in the map frame to pan to a new location. Alternatively, the arrows surrounding the map frame will pan in the direction of the arrow.
Identify displays textual layer information about a selected map attribute Identify  Click on the identify button and then click on the map to display information for all the features chosen at the click point. The information will be displayed in a separate window.
Measures the distance between two or more points Measure  Click on the Measure button and then on your starting point on the map. It may take a few seconds to register that point, a red dot will appear when the point has been calculated. Then click on the next point. Both the total length and the segment length will be shown at the top of the map frame.
Clears the currently selected map features Clear  Use the Clear Select button to clear the measurement line or features selected with query.
Prints the map currently displayed Print  Use the Print button to print the image you see on the screen.
Help displays information about this mapping application Help  Click to bring up the help menu.
